Chalkwell Lifeguards Club, in Southend-on-Sea, is set to officially launch a new rescue boat named in memory of the late Sir David Amess MP.
The “Sir David Amess MP” patrol boat is the latest addition to the club’s fleet, supplied by Avon Marina, the UK distributor for Takacat.
Takacat Inflatable Catamarans boast a number of features that make them ideal for search and rescue teams such as a unique open bow design allows for easy access, quick assembly time, their open transom ensures the non-skid deck remains dry and their durability.
The boat can also undergo certain modifications, such as a reinforced air deck, to make it even more durable!
