Delivery

We generally send parcels out via Royal Mail however deliveries may be affected due to planned strike dates. If you need your order urgently, please get in contact with us and we will do our best to ensure your order arrives in time.

Our experienced team ship products all around the globe using the most cost effective delivery methods possible. We will always make every effort to get your order to you as swiftly and as economically as possible.

Further information on deliveries

We charge delivery on all orders; the amount will be added to your order in the basket section of the website, you can review this price before you confirm the order. The majority of orders (excluding postable items) will require a signature, the delivery can take place any time between 8am-6pm. If you are likely to be out during the time of delivery, please either write instructions in the note section or provide an alternative delivery address.

Please be aware that some smaller and/or lightweight items may incur a higher delivery charge due to the dimensions of the item or the chosen couriers guidelines.

On rare occasions, items may not be available immediately. We will get in contact with you (using the contact details you have provided on your order) as quickly as possible to notify you of this. Avon Marina We will despatch the available item(s) right away and will keep the unavailable item(s) on back order for delivery at a later date. At the customer’s request, we can hold the order and ship when complete.

If your item is unavailable for the delivery service selected, we will contact you to notify you of this using the contact details supplied to us.

STANDARD DELIVERIES

We will always endeavour to despatch goods within 3 working days of payment clearance. Standard delivery is typically with either Royal Mail or CEC (dependent on the size of the package). Both services will require a signature, failure to provide a signature may result in your delivery being delayed.

Next Working Day Deliveries; If we receive your order before midday (GMT – Greenwich Mean Time Zone) Monday-Thursday it will be delivered on the following working day (if ordered after midday on Thursday your order will be delivered on the following Monday – if it is a working day). If you place on order on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday your order will be processed on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

Courier Deliveries; We send a large number of parcels out via courier services (predominantly with CEC). Couriers have a broad delivery window, they can delivery any time between 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday. We are unable to specify a time slot for delivery.

In-store pickup service; You can place an order through our website to be collected in-store from our Chandlery. Just select the ‘Local pickup’ option during the checkout process and we’ll notify you when it’s ready to be collected.

If you would like to return an in-store pick up, please do this by either calling us on 01202 612 610 or email us at info@avonmarina.com to obtain a RMA number and be advised of how to return the goods to us.NB; The cost of carriage for international orders is calculated by the weight of the entire order and the destination of where it is being delivered. If your order is being sent to you outside of the UK via a courier, you may be liable to pay for import duties / custom taxes before/after your order has been delivered to you. This is standard procedure and ensures that you receive your order as quickly as possible – we do not have control over these charges, they are solely dependent on your local custom office/courier. We cannot reimburse any additional costs incurred in any case. Royal Mail aim to deliver parcels being sent to UK (mainland) in 1-3 days, Europe in 4-7 working days and the rest of the world in 7-10 working days however these times can be affected by delays out of our control (such as customs clearance, strikes, etc.). If your order is not delivered to you in the time frame then please contact us.

SHIPPING ANTIFOUL & PAINT; We are unable to send antifoul and paint products outside of UK Mainland. If you have a query regarding this please contact our customer service department.
SHIPPING LIFEJACKETS & CO2 CANNISTERS; We are unable to send lifejackets that contain CO2 cannisters outside of the EU at present. If you would like to contact us regarding this, we can try and assist with the order if required.
SHIPPING LIQUIDS & CHEMICALS; We are unable to deliver liquids or chemicals overseas. We are also unable to send them via Royal Mail within the UK, they will have to be sent via courier.
SHIPPING/SALE OF KNIVES; We cannot sell knives to anyone under the age of 18 years old in accordance with UK Law – The Offensive Weapons Act 1996. We also cannot send knives overseas.

Returns

Looking to return an item/order to Avon Marina? Follow these simple steps:
1. Get in touch with us via phone (01202 612 610) or email us at orders@avonmarina.com We will need to determine whether you would like to exchange the product or return for a refund.
2. With this information, we will begin to process the return and will provide you with a returns number. You will need you to mark the return number clearly on the outside of your parcel.
3. Once the item has arrived back to us, we will be able to proceed with either a refund or the exchange.
