Avon Marina have been working tirelessly to modernise the site, enhancing security and making the marina an enjoyable place to relax and visit as well as looking after your boat 24:7. We have completed our first phase of improvement works and will continue with the next phase in April 2021. Our aim is to provide a modern, relaxing environment which you and your family can enjoy.
Avon Marina is a local family-run, friendly business with over 150 walk-on berths each with access to water and electricity and 10 trot moorings. We are proud of the beautiful environment in which we situated and able to share with you the picturesque views of Christchurch Priory, Hengistbury Head, Stanpit Nature Reserve and the surrounding waters.
Within the new hard standing area, there is now the capacity to store approximately 150 boats and trailers. At the far end of the boatyard, there is a purpose-built dinghy and kayak storage area. Beyond the enhanced security entrance gates there is also an ablutions block, a chandlery shop stocked with fantastic products & an upgraded fuel station.
On-site we have a comprehensive service & maintenance division who can support you with each & every requirement. We can assist you in selling your boat & finding the next one with our onsite Brokerage and sales team.
We have 15 on-site state of the art CCTV cameras which are constantly monitored along with security patrols.
Our expanding online shop will be your first virtual port of call for any products that you need and if you can’t see the exact item you require we will strive to obtain it for you.
We will continue to offer bespoke services, including boatbuilding – our renowned ocean-going rowing boats are a notable example of this. Many more exciting improvements and benefits are planned – our focus is to make Avon an accessible modern marina that is not just a place to moor your boat – we want you to be part of our journey and the extended Avon family.
