MEET OUR TEAM AT AVON MARINA

Meet Alexis, our Marina Manager, Alexis has worked at Avon Marina since its creation in November of 2019, and has immense experience in the marine industry. In his free time, Alexis loves to play racket ball – and was crowned national over 40s champion! Moreover, Alexis loves to go skiing, fishing and spending time with his family.

Meet Sam, our Boatyard Operative, who joined us in 2021. Before coming to Avon Marina, he spent five years working at Sunseeker and has an extensive 17-year background working on a variety of boat shows and events bringing a wealth of knowledge to our team. Outside of work, Sam’s hobbies include building and collecting LEGO sets!

Matt has been part of the Rossiters Quay team for 12 years, long before Avon Marina was created! With extensive experience in the marine industry, he studied for a degree in boat design at university, bringing a deep understanding of boats and their workings to our team.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys sailing and boating, embracing the marine lifestyle!

Jules joined the Avon Marina team as a Boatyard Operative in September 2025. As part of the boatyard team, he helps support the day-to-day marina operations!
Outside of work, Jules enjoys going to the gym and bodybuilding, as well as spending time outdoors, hiking. He also enjoys making music in his spare time.

Meet Pip, our Repair and Refit Manager, Pip joined in November of 2022.

Pip has spent most of his career in the industry, working at Sunseeker International for 16 years, as well as being captain of 30m yacht and project manager of a 50m yacht refit.

Pip spends most of his free time fishing or watching motorsports.

Meet Dave, our Repair and Refit Technician.

Dave joined our team here at Avon Marina in November of 2022, after having worked at Sunseeker International for 29 years as well as a local Marine servicing company afterwards.

During his free time, Dave particularly enjoys gardening.

Meet Steve, who joined our team in December 2025 as our Marine Electrician, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the marine industry. Prior to joining us, Steve worked at Sunseeker International and ran his own company, gaining extensive expertise in marine electrical installations and repairs.
Outside of work, Steve enjoys motorbiking and superkart racing!

Meet Justin, our Restoration and Bodyshop Manager, who joined our team in August of 2024, with over 30 years of expertise from within the industry.

Justin’s interests include everything to do with classic cars – especially paint and restoration projects.

Justin also loves to cook, especially on the BBQ in the summer season!

Meet Harry, our Bodyshop Technician. Harry joined our team in our brand new Restoration and Refinishing department in August of 2024.

Harry’s previous experience includes specialsing in classic car restorations and being a paint and refinishing expert.

Harry is also a car enthusiast – his interests include all things Cars!

Meet Crispin, our Sales and Marketing Manager.

Previously, Crispin had worked in Sales, Business Development and Marketing for many years in industries including Private Healthcare and Internet Broadcasting.

His hobbies include most if not all water sports and a questionable golfing ability.

Meet Noel, our Lead of Sales.

Noel had joined our team 5 years ago, and ensures exceptional customer service and is an expert and specialist on our offering of boats and products.

On the weekend, Noel’s hobbies include going boating with his friends and spending time with his family.

Meet Kara, our Group Marketing Executive who joined us in May 2022.

Kara has a wealth of experience in marketing and commercial activities.

Outside of work, Kara is a music aficionado – playing a variety of instruments, an avid reader and a keen naturalist.

Meet Julia, our Marketing apprentice, assisting our executive in a range of marketing projects day to day. Julia joined our team towards the end of September of 2024 and is working towards her Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer qualification at college. Julia enjoys socialising with friends and spends all her time at the beach – admiring sunsets.
